The purpose of this course is to promote workplace safety and health and to make workers more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and how to deal with them.

The Occupational health and Safety General Industry Course is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training emphasizes on hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention, as well as OSHA standards.
